It’s time to get pissed. The U.S. law that would turn Google, Facebook, and Twitter into legally immune government spies just passed the House.
This bill affects everyone — not just U.S. citizens. Anyone with a Facebook account could now have their data shipped directly to the U.S. government. That’s why Internet users overwhelmingly oppose this bill. Over 1.5 million people signed petitions against it. But Congress didn’t listen.
Does this remind you of something? Yep, this is the exact position we were in with SOPA last year. Then the Internet rose up and we made history with the SOPA strike.
CISPA threatens our most basic rights. Privacy is important not just for our security but for our rights to freedom of expression. The giant tech companies that stood with Internet users against SOPA are not going to help us this time (but some of the large sites like Mozilla, Imgur, and Reddit are all against CISPA and we love them).

Okay, so, obviously, I’m a big ball of feels. I mean, sure, this couple is the reason I started watching the show…and was my favorite couple on the show…and one of my favorite couples in general…and Sybil was my favorite character…so, yeah, I’m in a huge mess of not okay.
With this episode, Julian Fellowes has jumped to the top of my list of People I Need to Punch the Living Fuck Out Of, beating James Cameron (for making Avatar, then deciding to make two sequels to said shitstorm) and John Williams (it’s a long story involving a breakdown, the Hollywood Bowl, and one of the worst nights of my life).
Not my best work, but I’m working through feels. The transitions in some parts might look a little weird or the overlay might be too strong, but, well, I can’t look at this anymore. Vegas was being a bitch as I got closer to finishing it. It would just randomly crash when I tried to add the motion blur, so I had to put it back on just before I started rendering or else everything would go to hell.
I know this song is really overused, but I dare you to find a better Bransons song. Can’t? Thought so. Also, you know, I’m finally getting on the Mumford & Sons’ train. I used to think they were really over-hyped and overrated, but, now that my friends who adored them are saying that they never got the appeal, I’m finally getting into them. So it goes.
Also, I really mangled the song. I mean, usually, I just take the first verse of a song and add on the final chorus where the verse usually goes into the chorus, but, um, you cannot do that with this song. So I kind of ended up just cutting wherever I could. I mean, it sounds okay, but if you know the song (which everyone does), it does sound a little strange at times.
I also want to point out that, because of the text and overlays, there were over 20 layers in this video. I mean, that may not sound like a lot, but when you’re used to, like, 4, tops, it’s weird. And can get a little confusing.
So, adore the text. I spent forever on it. I remembered why I usually don’t match it word for word. But I love the word-for-word look, so I can’t really regret it…

So, this is what I was working on whilst up in Morro Bay the past few weeks. I mean, I could’ve been working on my entries for Prodigy Games or Epiphany Contest, but every single time I opened my laptop, I needed to work on this. Seriously—this couple pulls me through my bouts of depression like no other. It’s remarkable.
So, yeah, I don’t think this is the most amazing thing I’ve ever made, but, hey, I’ve noticed an influx of S/D love, so I felt all warm and fuzzy inside.
This has no story. It did originally, but that died. It was a bit about how Steve was holding on too hard to his past and it was making him lose his future with Darcy, but then that was not the case anymore.

Allie - thanks for answering my long, rambly emails that overused the Caps Lock button and looking at betas of this video. You are the greatest person ever and the best beta buddy anyone could ask for. xD

Okay, so, can we all agree that I should not have been Fire? I am the worst fire ever.
I apologize to my teammates, to my friends, to my family, to anyone I’ve ever passed on the street. This isn’t as effectsy as it should’ve been. Plus, the first 5 seconds are REALLY glitchy and I could not figure out how to fix it.
So, this ended up having a lot of Azula. Go figure. I mean, I like Azula and I think she’s really interesting as a character, but I wasn’t even trying.
And Maiko will be in every AtLA video I ever do. They’re perfection, okay? PERFECTION.
I made my own coloring for once!! It’s the one I made for “Run For Your Life” and someone asked me how I did the coloring, which reminded me how much I love this coloring. :D
